Cash buyer
1. Collect Application Form from Fahari Estate, charged at Ksh 500 or download from our website for free.
2. Choose a house on Fahari Estate site map or at www.fahariestate.com and call Ms Edna Odongo at Fahari Estate (on (020) 2719342/3) to ensure that your chosen house is available. If the house is not available, you will be presented with other available Fahari Estate house options to choose from.
3. Complete and submit to Fahari Estate the Application Form together with relevant documents (3 coloured passport photos, Personal Identification Number (PIN) copy and identification card or passport copy and a cheque for the non-refundable good faith deposit of Ksh 50,000 that will go towards the total house price made out to Anjarwalla & Khanna Advocates. The house will only be reserved for you upon receipt of the good faith deposit.
Fahari Estate to confirm Application Form is completed correctly and all relevant documents provided. Fahari Estate will then forward all documentation to Anjarwalla & Khanna Advocates for preparation of the Agreement for Lease and the Lease.
4. Upon communication from Anjarwalla & Khanna Advocates collect Agreement for Lease and Lease for signing.
5. Sign and return the same within 7 (seven) days to Anjarwalla & Khanna Advocates together with a cheque for 10 percent of the house price (less the good faith deposit) made out to Anjarwalla & Khanna Advocates.
6. Pay 20 percent of the agreed purchase price every quarter, and 10 percent on completion.
NOTE: House swaps will be charged at a non-refundable fee of Ksh 50,000.
7. Upon communication from Anjarwalla & Khanna Advocates collect the registered Lease from their offices.
Buyer borrowing from a mortgage lender against house
1. Collect Application Form from Fahari Estate, charged at Ksh 500 or download from our website for free.

Buyer in the Diaspora
1. Log on to www.fahariestate.com. Print the Application Form and choose a house. Call Ms Edna Odongo at Fahari Estate (on +254 20 2719342/3) or email (edna@scionreal.com) to ensure that your chosen house is available. If the house is not available, you will be presented with other available Fahari Estate house options to choose from.
2. Pay a non-refundable good faith deposit of Ksh 50,000 that will go towards the total house price to Anjarwalla & Khanna Advocates - Client Account at Investments and Mortgages Bank Limited, Kenyatta Avenue branch. (See bank account details and instructions on the application form).
3. Complete and forward to Fahari Estate Application Form together with relevant documents (3 coloured passport photos, Personal Identification Number (PIN) copy and identification card or passport copy) and proof of payment of the good faith deposit by courier to the following address: Attn Ms. Edna A. Odongo, Fahari Estate, c/o Scion Real, Gateway Place, Lower Ground Floor, Milimani, Nairobi, Kenya. Telephone: +254 20 2719342/3. The house will only be reserved for a period of four (4) working days pending confirmation from the bank of receipt of the funds. If the confirmation is not received within the aforesaid period, the house returns to the market.
All monies not in Kenya Shillings will be converted into Kenya Shillings at Investment & Mortgage Bank’s published exchange rate for the day. Any shortfall should be paid within four (4) days of notification of the short fall or the house returns to the market.*You may email (in pdf ONLY) the Application Form and relevant documents to Ms Edna A. Odongo at edna@scionreal.com prior to forwarding the documents by courier for confirmation that the form is correctly filled in and the relevant documents are in order.

Anjarwalla & Khanna Advocates can apply for a PIN certificate on behalf of buyers in the diaspora.
To facilitate this download and complete the PIN application forms at http://www.kra.go.ke/incometax/incometaxdownloadableforms.html, include a copy of your identification (ID) card and a letter authorising Anjarwalla and Khanna Advocates or their agents to conduct this process. Include these forms in the application package.
4. Receive (by courier) Agreement for Lease and Lease from Anjarwalla & Khanna Advocates.
5. Return (by courier) signed Agreement for Lease and Lease together with proof of payment of 10 per cent of the house price to Anjarwalla & Khanna Advocates at the following address: Attn: Shellomith Irungu and Cornelius Kigera, ALN House, Eldama Ravine Road, Westlands, Nairobi, Kenya. Telephone: +254 20 3748089, 3740345/7. The monies should be received within four (4) working days.
6. Pay 20 percent of the agreed purchase price every quarter, and 10 percent on completion.

7. Receive (by courier) registered Lease from Anjarwalla & Khanna Advocates.
